Why Travelling With Friends Is The Best Thing In The World?
“Never go on trips with anyone you do not love” - Ernest Hemingway
Who is your go to travel companion?
A spouse? A Core group of friends?
I can say spouse with my core group of friends. We know that we are really close to our friends and always want to spend our time with them. No wonder we share some amazing and memorable times with them. We fall more in love with people with whom we travel. Going on a trip with the core circle of friends could unleash exhilaration that will be spiked up in us forever.
1. Traveling With Friends Brings Immeasurable Relationships
Having someone with you, when you travel means that you will share all the good and bad reminiscences possible during your great escapade. Yes, you’ll do almost everything in this trip together like waking up in the morning, eating together and tired in the evening. By the end of the trip, you have the opportunity to see them in so many different ways that you can begin to know a truer form of your friend. Let’s be honest, we all live very fast and busy lives but traveling with friends kind of brings you back together and offers you periods of reflection.
2. You’ll have assistance when planning the trip
You are always overly excited about a trip when you’re doing it with friends but if you’re not the type of person who likes to plan, there might be someone else who’s going to be more than willing to do it for the team.
When you travel with your friends, expenses also split which is a great relief to your pockets and the one friend who is expert in keeping tracks of spending & loves to do that.
3. You can share your expenses
When you travel with friends, the entire adventure is more affordable and a big relief to the pockets. From hotel room to the food bill and many other expenses will become a lot cheaper. There would be one friend who is an expert and keeps track of spending and loves to do that and makes the trip hassle free.
4. Traveling with friends provides you with the best photos in your albums
Traveling with friends means there is always a photographer ready to capture a moment and you won’t need to spend five minutes to find a stranger who will take your photos. They won’t just press the camera button but real friends will do everything to take the best picture ever.
Whenever you look at your trip album you not only see pictures but also the candid moments, hope, togetherness and truth. By the photos you feel that a trip with friends should not be just talked about. It should be lived and experienced.
5. You can forget about your itinerary
When travelling solo, you do whatever you want to do or follow your itinerary. You feel scared to do particular things like going down for a zip line, bungee jumping or trying a new food. But when you travel with friends, there is nothing fixed and sometimes you have to go outside your comfort zone and try new things and take risks. The kind of pictures you take, the experience and the destinations you uncover will always be memorable. There is spontaneity of events in your trip and it could go anyway. Experiencing new things with your friend is phenomenal and this could always be a talking point for you and your friend during discussions for your life.
6. When You Travel With Friends, It Makes Layovers/Travel Time More Bearable
Travel transits can be tiring and boring but not with friends. When you are with friends you have endless things to share and you feel you need more time to be with them.
7. Your nights and days are same
With friends there is no sleeping early. You always feel energetic with them and you have a lot to share and you think that there should be more than 24 hours to complete your talks.
8. You Can Pack Lighter
You can share clothes, makeup and few toiletries (shampoo, comb, deodorants/perfumes etc)
9. You can act as weird as you want
From taking selfies of absurd poses, to candid pictures, and to acting weird anywhere. The adventure starts from the moment you meet.
10. You are excited about the journey
You are always pumped up and freaking excited to travel with friends and plan it for days, weeks or even months in advance.
11. There is so much to talk about during the trip

There is no generation gap with your friends. You have the same opinion, ideas and perspective on how things should be done.
